Warm oil flows faster, so a short run first helps — but it isn't mandatory. The 12V motor will still draw cold oil, it just takes a little longer.
The kit ships with 5, 6 and 8 mm pipes plus an extension, which cover the overwhelming majority of cars, SUVs, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs, boats and mowers.
It also handles coolant, gear oil and other light automotive fluids — anything you can reach through a fill or dipstick tube.
